Lure Fishing Diary

Hi I'm John Cheyne and I just love Lure Fishing! I've always fancied keeping a fishing journal, but never quite got round to it. Instead I've been producing this regular blog, as much for my own benefit as anything, but maybe if you love fishing as much as me a few bits and pieces will be of interest. I practice catch and release so every fish that is shown on this blog was safely released back to the water after capture. So with out any more waffle here it is, my Lure fishing diary.

New stretch produces a grand slam

Gary and I fished a new stretch of the Severn yesterday and although it didn't produce anything massive, Gary did get a grand slam of perch, pike, chub & zander. I couldn't quite equal him as the zander proved illusive.
